Suspended within a darkened void, my site-specific installation materializes the fluid, often fractured nature of memory, transition, and ungrounded existence. The work manifests my own deep-seated state of displacement—the restless, liminal threshold where my body resides on the constant verge of departure. Born from a persistent personal feeling of rootlessness, I intend for this project to function as a vulnerable exploration of what it means to never fully feel at home.

In this installation, I utilize a precise categorization of suspended plexiglass panels, transforming my isolated archival imagery into a non-linear cartography of space and time. Moving away from rigid, text-heavy narratives, I balance academic research with intuitive acts of surrender. Throughout this process, I was deeply guided by dialogues with my mother and tarot readings, using chance as a non-rational compass to navigate the shifting layers of my psyche. Through this multi-disciplinary methodology, I treat the translucent panels as floating visual vessels that distort, refract, and echo one another. The organic textures I embed within the surfaces invoke archetypal elements—terra, aquatic depths, and shifting illumination—reconstructing raw, fleeting moments into a tangible, atmospheric ecosystem.

By hanging these frames from industrial wires, I invite you to step into the gaps and shadows between the layers of my personal memories. As I let light filter through the transparent sheets, the boundaries between my inner emotional world and the physical places I've been begin to dissolve. I want to position you right on the very edge of the frame, pulling you into the same endless state of transition that I experience—where my maternal ties, spiritual guidance, and past traces constantly dissolve, overlap, and shape-shift.
